Susan

Susan is our committee Chair and a dedicated volunteer with our young people and in particular, a popular leader at our Kid’s Bike Club. She has lived and worked in Drumchapel all her life and has extensive local knowledge. Susan is a Play on Pedals instructor, first aider and safeguarding trained.

Sharon

Sharon is our committee Treasurer and champion in the community, with many contacts in local organisations. She is a passionate supporter of the project and was key to establish the Ladies cycling group in our first year. She is a regular volunteer at our Kid’s Bike Club and events, is a Play on Pedals instructor and first aid trained.

Josh

Josh has been involved in sport for over 10 years. From an initial interest in karate, competing and achieving his first dan black belt, Josh developed an interest in coaching. After completion of the Glasgow Sport Young Leader’s programme, he went on to train in bike mechanics and is now a regular volunteer at the Kids Bike Club, summer clubs and school cycling activities. He also volunteers as a classroom assistant to help children with additional support needs.

Anne

Anne is our project Secretary, social media coordinator and lead cycle instructor and ride leader, not to mention lead bike mechanic for our fleet. Anne has been involved with the project since the outset and has a background in sports coaching and skills development through Glasgow Sport. In addition to leading our cycle groups, Anne delivers curriculum and after school cycling activities locally.

Maryann

Maryann has been a regular volunteer at the Kids Bike Club since the beginning. A familiar face in the community, Maryann is a passionate and enthusiastic volunteer in many projects, especially involving sport and physical activity. Maryann completed the Glasgow Sport Young Leader’s programme to help develop her coaching skills and is currently attending college.
