Learn to Ride

We are currently running weekly learn to ride sessions for children age 5 and upwards with experienced coaches.

Our Sunday Kids Bike Club is no longer running therefore we are not currently running sessions suitable for toddlers or under 5s.

Sessions are one hour after school currently on a Wednesday from 3.30-4.30pm. They are held outdoors and are suitable for older children or children with some additional support needs.

Children will attend weekly until they are confident pedalling, controlling the bike, starting and stopping safely.

Our coaches aim to make all children feel welcome, confident and included. Children will develop skills in their own time, so our sessions are not limited to a specific number per child, although we may advise that children get extra practice in when they can!

We have bikes and helmets available to use and we can advise on a suitable size bike for your child once they are pedalling.

We will also have additional sessions during the holidays.

Learn to ride sessions are booked by direct message only. Kids will go onto a waiting list until a space becomes available. We will then contact you directly to advise availability.

Session cost is £5 for the hour. Payment is cash or card on arrival.

To go onto the waiting list, click on the link and let us know your child name and age.

We have three sessions available to attend, every Sunday morning starting at 9, 9.45 and 10.30am.

Children can use our bikes and helmets or they can bring their own.

Sessions are inside and when weather allows, we also have space outdoors.

Adult Cycling Skills

Drumchapel Cycle Hub offer one-to-one or one-to-two cycling instruction for children and adults, from complete beginners or returning to cycling through to those who wish to develop confidence and further skills.

Following government and Cycling UK guidance, we will shortly resume our daytime group cycling skills for adults.

Our experienced coaches are able to work with all ages and abilities, including those requiring additional support due to learning difficulties or health conditions.

We have bikes suitable for all sizes or you can use your own. We will also ensure that your own bike is safety checked and set up correctly for you.

We can also deliver cycling activities for nursery, primary or secondary schools, groups or special events.

To enquire about cycling skills, one to one or group skills, use our contact form on the home page.
